PKD Training is a small team of experienced workplace trainers founded in July 2020. We deliver nationally accredited training focusing on a trailored skill set and delivery methods to suit site specific requirements. We achieve this through local RTO's (Registered Training Organisations). We focus on delivering personalised and individualised skill sets to assist trainees in achieving their desired outcomes without sacrificing core knowledge, understanding and proficiency.

We primarily deliver the training online, which is bolstered by regular contact through Skype, Teams, Zoom, Phone calls, and emails. Most practical assessments can be delivered onsite face-to-face, through proffessional conversations, or video/photos as evidence collection.

How we can help you.

Our clientele base is across 9 industries which contain 16 different career paths so we decided to customise skill sets. These provides a very distinct advantage. We are working with our clients' strengths which will help with job advancement. We are all about helping clients obtain the job they are looking.
With most of our clienteles working remotely and/or shift working a flexible learning program was needed to accomodate these situations.
Many of our clientele work with or near operations staff and many have trade backgrounds. We recognise this in their learning program and develop a skill set to suit.
Our involvement with our clientele does not end with the completion of the training. Our acquired knowledge of their careers and their qualification means we are in a position to advise on their next steps. i.e. studying, career change.

Kath brings a formal education standard to our training. Her nursing roles in mental health is helping remote workers with valuable education. Kathy is also the instigator of our school's program overseeing this Certificate II program.

With 30+ years experience in the oil and gas industry working on many different process plants, Paul ensures students get an extensive level of training. He is also our fire and emergency response expert providing national recognised training to distribution pipeline operators.

Geoff Teale aka 'Wobbly'

Geoff first started in the oil & gas industry in 1978, he has worked at all levels on management, managed an RTO, worked with University/TAFE and ran his own training company. He has worked with the national training package for 10 years. He plays a role of advisor for our students and trainers.
